motor vibration is louder than a normal filter but has 2 filters inside the platform. saves room and looks better than hang on filters. just had to add a ramp for them to get on top because of the steep face

I ordered for my saccade turtle in hopes for her to have running water for her pool. I realized after I opened it it needs to be almost fully under water

I got this for my 40 gallon tank. I have 3 baby musk and 1 southern painted turtle. I got this filter because the other 2 filters I had on the tank died - for no reason. I needed something that would keep the water clean and clear and this filter is working like a charm! It's a solid piece and ncely weighted. The turtles haven't been able to move it. I'm very pleased and so are my turtles. The southern painted has switched to basking on the basking area here and my musk turtles like to sit under the waterfall. Once I switch to a larger tank, I just may get another one for an opposite corner. Great filter at a great price. Tetra products have never let me down.

Already had one which work well.

Not really suitable for adult or juvenile turtles although it says it will filter up to 55 gallons which is what I have. However, I'm changing the two filter cartridge on the inside about 2-3 a week. If you're looking for something more heavy duty this isn't the solution.

it's a good filter but it needs better cartridges they clog very quickly then you have no water flow and your tank gets dirty very quickly

The rock looks great and was an amazing price. Nice that it has two filters inside instead of one. Only reason I give this item3 stars is because... how are turtles suppose to get on top? Even with water at level, not making it. I have two red eared sliders and a pretty big tank and there is no gradual incline to the top. It gives off rock climbing vibes and my turtles are not accomplishing a goal of basking on top of this rock. May place additional rocks or support in tank to create more of an assistance for them.

broken when i recieved it

Product was opened and looked used!! Parts of it were in ziplock bags and other parts were dirty. Disgusting.
