BEST CLASSIC AND MUSICAL MOVIE EVER!!!

This is one of my favorite all time musicals. It is a take off on Romeo and Juliet in NYC in the 50's where two people fall in love who are from two different backgrounds.

My daughter loved it!

I love the movie and was glad to be able to get it from Walmart so quickly.

I had to order a replacement for the first DVD sent. It seems that both were defective in that after the initial introduction of West Side Story, you hear the music but the screen turns up yellow with some unrecognizable characters on the screen. You have to fast forward it and it plays through a series of the same screen but in various colors, then finally the story begins. The DVD, other than that is in good shape but i shouldn't have to fast forward it through all those screens.

I HATE the way they twisted the story from the original version. I Hate when they take a classic and twist it to trash.... I was expecting them to making some slight changes but they did not stay within the story line.. You have to watch the original version to understand what I am saying. Doc never had a Puertorriquena wife, then they switched several scenes around from the original. West side story is one of my ALL time favorite movies, I HATE what they did to this movie...!!!!! Wasted money in the theaters will not waste it on the DVD.....
