I bought my first pair 5 1/2 years ago and resolved them once. It was time for a new pair, so I came back to these. Not only are they stylish, but also functional.

Good ankle support, they protect the toes and look nice and very professional once you shine them up. Alittle uncomfortable at first but once you break them in they are great and they last forever. I have been wearing this exact style for the last ten years at least.

This boot was iffy for me to buy. I had been in the market for a new boot after having Bates and Haix. Both were great boots but I wanted something different. I purchased these and when they came they looked fantastic and amazing. Crisp and fresh leather with good craftsmanship. Only downfall is the short laces they issue the boot and the ability of breaking them in is the tough part because it does hurt if you don't do it in increments and some leather softener. Otherwise the boot fits pristine, right as first because it's unworn leather. I'm happy with this purchase and love my new boots.

I have been in law enforcement for 20 years and this is the only boot i wear. I have tried other brands but always go back to my Rockies. Also I like the fact that Rocky is one of the few companies that still make a true women's tactical boot.

I've been wearing the Rocky Women's Side Zipper Jump Boot as my daily duty boot for the last 8 years. A little tough to break in, but 100% worth the "struggle". Great for year round weather; I live in New England and wear these in summer heat as well as winter snow and everything in between. Only complaint would be the button down flap on top of the zipper. I have larger calf muscles and can either button one or the other, not both. Wish they would bring back the velcro design they had in the past. Over all these are my favorite duty boots, and I'm thrilled they are back!!

Bought about a month ago. Came on time even though there was a blizzard in the area! Used the water technique to break in and they are almost perfectly comfy. A little hard to put on even with zipper. I wish there was a size chart on the site cause I have giant toe bones so I usually have to go large but the toe is big enough so I could have gone a half size down. Other than those minor issues, I'm well pleased with my boots!

Cuts the back of your foot.. different then before. Leather is weird stiff right above the ankle like almost plastic. Trying to soften it and have to wear extra socks and tuck in pants. Not the same quality as before. Avoid if you can.

This is not my first pair of Rocky's. I have never had an issue with previous pairs until now. Unfortunately this pair is giving me some difficulties with breaking in the leather. These boots have done a number on my achilles area and have been very frustrating to soften and break-in. The rest of the boot is fine and I have no issue with.

I bought these a month ago. I work 80 hours a weekday and EMT and Firefighter. They still are tough and will not break in. I often and putting them off and on between calls. Every time I put my foot in the boot, it pulls my sock super tight over my toes. They are difficult to put on in comparison to my 5.11 boots. It was worth a try but these are not for me.

I wish I could give a better review concerning the boot itself, but 3 weeks after my purchase, I still haven't gotten to actually wear them. I will say they appear to be a great boot, and they came with a nice shine on them. I ordered a pair of Size 5 boots on 7/29. They arrived a few days later, and unfortunately, were too small. That's not the company's fault, it's just difficult finding the right size online. I went to the website and saw there was an option to exchange rather than just return, so I called. I was emailed a shipping label, and at the end of the conversation told that the return would need to be completely processed before the new boots would be shipped, which would likely take about 2 weeks. In other words, it would have been faster for me to just return the boots and buy a new pair. Nevertheless, I shipped the boots out via FedEx on 8/4. Since then, I have heard nothing from the company. I checked my account and my original pair of boots are still showing as "shipped" to me, there is no record of them being delivered or my returning them. I contacted the company and have not heard back from them. I purchased these boots for work and because of the slow service have not gotten to actually use them yet, which is very frustrating because my old pair are way overdue to be replaced. The company I used to purchase boots from no longer sells my size so it was suggested to me that I try Rocky. Very unhappy with the whole experience and it's unlikely I will ever purchase from them again.
