Purpose is to reduce use of bottled water. Purchased these 18 oz reusable portable bottles and a large, filtered water dispenser to reduce the use of bottled water and plastic bottles more importantly plastic waste in environment. I have dropped them when empty and no damage happened, just bounced. Pleased with that. I like the string handle, for now. I'm concerned with being damp when bottle is on its side and leakage. Held upside down and there were drops coming out. Concerned about ribbon handle lasting as well. But for less than a dollar each in the 24-pack, I'm okay with that. Plastic inner seal ring came off on one bottle, stuck to the top of bottle, but I put it back in the cap and it seems fine. At present they are serving their purpose, I have filled all 24 with water and they are sitting like a case ready for use. A few are chilling in the refrigerator, majority are at room temp.

The bottle top separates. silver top comes off without unscrewing top. the strap comes out and the circular plastic in top falls out. Unscrewing top is difficult without silver cover. I have bought 5 so far all good except this last purchase of the blue bottle, which was a substitute for a clear bottle. I am requesting a refund and will purchase the clear bottle. Can't make a gift out of a broken item.

This is such a stylish sleek bottle that makes it perfect to carry on the go without occupying much space. It is made up of hard plastic material and has a steel lid. It even has a little tag on the lid which helps me to hold it easily while walking. I strongly believe it is for cold beverages because of plastic material and is not dish washer safe.

Highly dangerous! The stainless steel cap covering the lid is not permanently glued/attached/secured and comes apart while the bottle was empty. The stainless steel cap is extremely sharp at the base %26 at the strap hole. Of the 4 bought, 3 came apart right out of the WM bag. The stainless steel cap has components; lid, strap (rubber? seems 2B nylon or plastic), plastic disk to hold strap into the stainless steel cap. Unsafe around children, pets and seniors. A dab of household adhesive makes a good fix for the DIY inclined.

I purchased the clear bottles as a bulk set of 24 for my 3rd grade class. I also purchased waterproof stickers for them to decorate the bottles with. We just started school so this was a fun activity for the students. The bottles look great and look even better with the stickers! The size is perfect for people of all ages. The handles are great so far. The students keep them on our uncarpeted concrete classroom floor next to their desks and have knocked them over countless times but these bottles are very sturdy! They are meant to HOLD liquid, not keep the liquid cold/hot. I'm very happy with them! They could easily charge a little bit more but I'm grateful they are priced at $1 because I was able to afford to get one for every student. I had them delivered. The delivery was fast and on time and there were no damaged bottles. They were very well packaged with individual separators in the box (see photos). absolutely amazing for the price you pay! however please take care not to throw it in the dishwasher and let the little ones know that as well lol. they shrink and shrivel up back to factory default setting LOL. but it's super sturdy and doesn't bend and give when you hold it and it is 100% waterproof or I mean spill proof LOL kids love it and I made an amazing custom waterbottle with it.

I loved these water bottles! I ordered them because they are a perfect fit to replace the Reduce Waterweek bottles in the refrigerator tray that comes with those. My Reduce bottles and lids have worn out, but I loved the idea of the bottle tray, so I went on a hunt for bottles that would fit that tray, and these are perfect! They are about an inch taller, but the diameter is a perfect fit. They are handy to grab, have 18 oz. of water, and their ideal for adding a packet of water flavoring on your way out the door. I love that they are clear. My son and I find that we drink more water having these lined up in the fridge. Seeing the clear refreshing water makes you want to grab one whenever you open the fridge door. It would be nice if they were dishwasher safe, but the wide mouth makes the a breeze to handwash, so it's not a dealbreaker. The hand carry strap on top makes them easy to carry, as well. I love the stainless steel lids. The problem with the Reduce lids is that they were plastic and cracked whenever you dropped a bottle. These are much sturdier. Great deal for $1! It would have cost me $40 for just 5 bottles in a tray from Reduce, but instead, I paid $8 for 8 of these bottles. Awesome!

If you want a no bells and whistles water bottle, this one is for you. It is see-through enough to easily detect liquid level. The bottle is long and narrow, very light-weight for packing on hikes, and fits into any water bottle pocket on a backpack, or bottle holder in a car, or on gym equipment like the elliptical or treadmill. Not too impressed with the cord strap as its fabric, not plastic, so it gets wet when cleaning. Has no insulation to keep contents cold and no special spout or straw. Holds 18 oz. of water which should last through any workout.

The price was excellent, they seem well made, but I didn't anticipate that they're a little awkward to drink out of due to the narrow shape.

I neede a water bottle for grandson in constructon business that wouldn't break, not heavy, and could ve washed. These bottles fit the need and if destroyed at construction site won't break my piggy bank tto re-order.
