I bought this in an airport as i could not find the one i usually use. Absolutely loved it from the start. Perfect amount in the capsules and literally felt like i was rubbing my face with a silk sheet. Skin felt very pampered and nourished. Works well with my normal night cream. Bough my second batch online.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently received a deluxe sample of this serum. It comes packaged as individual capsules, which makes applying the correct dosage foolproof. For ease I use a pin to make a hole in the capsule for dispensing. One capsule is sufficient for one application. This is by far the best serum I have used due to the following: Texture: silky smooth Scent: None: Effects: immediate. This serum is worth its hefty price tag and I will be repurchasing.

I received a 7 day free sample of this product. This was my first time using retinol as was a little scared as I have sensitive and irritable skin. I was extremely impressed. As being a first time retinol user, I love the capsules as it provides the right amount every use. The capsules it self where very easy to use- just tear off the top and squeeze and apply to face. During application it has a great texture, a thick serum which effortlessly applies to skin automatically giving it a smooth velvety feeling on the face. Even though the consistency is thick it is extremely light weight and once applied to face it feels like you have nothing on! Due my sensitive skin I was worried about redness and irritation, however didn't cause any discomfort and I would highly recommend for sensitive skin. Overall after a weeks use I do feel like it has helped reduce my acne scaring/ redness and I can see improved skin plumpness and evening of skin texture. I was highly impressed and will be looking to purchase to continue usage. Overall a great product and would highly recommend for a gentle but effective retinol product.

I've been using for about 2 weeks and my skin is definitely more uniform and smoother. The product feels very velvety, almost like a primer. The capsule is a genius way of retaining potency. I wish I could find info on the retinol percentage in this product though.

I bought this a month ago and choose this over my regular ceramide capsules, so far I am not impressed. There is not enough product in the capsules for my face and is not as moisturizing as the regular ceramide. I really wanted to love this product because I love Elizabeth Arden face products, but this is not fitting the bill.

I saw an improvement in my skin tone and texture using these capsules but I have now swapped to the Drunk Elephant brand of retinol cream and I am noticing a huge change. The Arden retinol is very gentle on the skin and feels beautiful but I really wanted results and going to a higher strength retinol is doing that (although it does come with the downsides too) I wish the Elizabeth Arden Retinol Capsules actually stated the % of retinol rather than saying that it's just under prescription grade, that really could mean anything, any for the price I want to have an exact understanding of the active ingredients

I have used this for about 3 weeks and it was wonderful to start with but now it seems my skin has 'retinol burn' and has come up in red spots, dry spots and is flaky in places. Very upset about this as I don't know what to do with the rest of the capsules! Going to give it a miss for now and perhaps introduce back into my routine when my face is better and maybe 'dilute' it with moisturiser. Any other suggestions?

I have oily/combination skin, but I'm also worried about signs of aging. After reading great reviews about this product, I decided to buy. The first few days I used this product, my skin looked and felt great. However, after about a week, I developed giant cysts on my jaw and chin. After I stopped using the capsules, I didn't develop any more cysts and the cysts I did have went down in size. I wouldn't recommend to someone with oily/acne prone skin.

Very disappointed, initially no irritation and felt nice to apply but I have noticed on my third month that I have now developed more fine lines and crepey skin around my eyes that I never had before. It can only be this as it's it's the only change I've made. I will stop immediately but have lost money on the remaining product

I've been applying one capsule every evening for almost 30 days and have not seen any visible diminishing of my fine lines and wrinkles. I was expecting after a month to see some improvement, even if marginal. Perhaps the product is better suited for other skin types.
