I have a shih tzu Chihuahua mix who has a very severe underbite and it's difficult to chew the much harder Foods. there are some Kibbles in this that are a little crunchy which is good for helping him keep his teeth and keep his teeth clean however the rest is used to chew and he eats easily. I feel confident giving him this product as it's made with real beef and chicken and he seems to really enjoy it. he does prefer the bacon and steak over the beef and chicken but I think that's just each dog's personality and what they prefer. I buy the 16 lb bag which saves me a lot of money by buying it in a larger size but it will last him almost 3 months or more. just be careful and keep it in a tight container so that the food doesn't spoil. I've never had any problems with this food he digests it well his weight is fine and he's happy.
