Solid and easy enough to assemble!

After being intimidated for a few weeks, I was able to solo build this pretty quickly. Incredibly solid with no creaks or bends. The instructions could have been better but the parts were easy to put together (folding long pieces for less assembly!) and I really appreciated the extra screw and included tools. A power drill did save me a good bit of time though! The bed slats are not screwed in but seem solid once a mattress is on top. Once assembled, it is light enough to drag around which is another plus. Right now I have a 12 inch king mattress, 4 inch gel pad and so far so good!

The bedframe is wonderful, except is too tall. My little dog is too scared to go up his little steps to get on the bed cause they don't reach the top of the mattress.

Solid build

This platform bed is solid. It was easy enough to put together. You could do it yourself, but having another person would make it even easier. The only thing I don't like about is that my husband keeps hitting his toes on the legs since they are on the edges of the bed. I put a slice of a pool noodle on the legs on his side and that seems to at least cushion the impact.
