The pump works as advertised. It's power level strong and noise level is still whisper quiet. I actually have it on the floor and it's going over 3 ft just to reach the top of my 20 gallon aquarium and going back down to the bubble stone inside. The stone is a different brand but the bubbles are plentiful thanks to this pump. Definitely recommend Tetra pumps!!

I honestly thought it was broken when I first plugged it in. When they say whisper quiet, they mean it. Even though it makes almost no noise, it puts out a powerful jet of air. I have two under gravel filters and a large circle bubbler attached to the one pump and have to use values to cut down the air flow so there isn't too much turbulence for the fish. Having been a science teacher, I've gone through a lot of pumps and this one is far superior to any other that I've had . The low cost almost scared me away. I thought any pump that inexpensive would be junk. Boy was I wrong! It's a great little pump and I'm sure glad i took the chance on it.
