Powerful Little Sucker!

I have had my last trusty DustBuster for awhile but it didn't have attachments to get in small places. The things that I like best about this BLACK+DECKER HLVA315J62 Dustbuster Lithium Ion Hand Vacuum, Slate Blue are: No cord to confine you going area to area It's very powerful It's light Nice color Easy to open to dispose of dirt collected Charge when runs out No cons at all, they've thought of everything designing it and it's everything I could ask for from a hand held mini vac!

Aero Dynamic Design, Powerful and Functional

This new design in hand held vacuums is truly a game changer. Black+Decker has a true winner here. It is border line sexy! Sort of like that other vacuum cleaner company! There is nothing to put together...ready to use right out of the box other than there is a 16 hour delay before use for completely charging the Lithium Ion battery. But the question is...is it powerful, good suction and easy to clean...YES to all of those. More than enough power when you need to clean up small jobs around the house or garage. It also has a built in brush that simply flips forward so you have the option of additional suction. This is a much better design than previous versions...marked improvement in hand held units...I love it. It also comes with an attachment that allows you to store it from a wall. I was skeptical but once I used it, I was a believer...you will not be disappointed with this purchase...it has it all, function and esthetic design.

Good Performance

The dustbuster had a charge when I received it. The instruction stated the unit should be charged for about 16 hours initially. Then put it back on the charger after each use. After I ran down the initial charge it came with, I charged it again. A light glowed on top of the unit while it was charging and the light went off when the charge was complete. I did not install the wall mount to hang/store the unit. The dustbuster was light weight and easy to manage with one hand. The dustbuster seemed to have a strong suction. I used it with the flip down brush attachment on a tile floor with “wood-look” grooves and a lot of dust. The brush was effective in getting into the tile grooves and grout lines. I like the brush attachment and that it is permanently attached to the nozzle. The canister is fairly large and is clear so I could tell when I needed to empty it. The filter was easy to remove and clean. The trade-off for having a clear canister is it looks dirty/dusty if I just empty it and don't actually wash/rinse it out after each use. I saw no safety issues with the unit. Overall, the dustbuster seems to be high quality, large capacity, and easy to use.
