These chairs arrived with one part that had a crack in the wood and another that was milled incorrectly. We had assembled one chair (the one without defects) before we caught the problems while assembling the second chair. Meanwhile, my husband had recycled the box. When I called the seller, they said they cannot send out replacement parts, so we would need to return the chairs ... which means taking apart the assembled and partially assembled chair and trying to see if we can retrieve the box from the recycling bin. I know we should have inspected all the parts before we put anything together, but the chairs arrived undamaged and the defects were hard to spot until you were actually assembling the chairs. So … I'm not sure what we will do. Probably just keep this substandard product as an expensive lesson learned. And avoid ordering from sketchy-looking vendors on Walmart.com in the future. But if you haven't ordered these yet, be forewarned!!!! If you buy these, inspect every part before you put anything together and be prepared to return them. The photos below show the mismanufactured part (off-center) alongside a correctly cut part; what the bad part looks like as assembled (doesn't line up); and the cracked part.
