i got these for a window sill extension for my cats to sit on. they seem to be sturdy enough. they are cute and not hard to install. some of the wall areas behind the drywall were too hard for the plastic screw brackets, but they are holding up with just the screws.

The shelves are really pretty in person. they come with all of the hardware that one will need to install them including different mounts for drywall, brick and concrete. My walls are plaster and they worked very well on the plaster walls. I found them very easy to install by myself. The installation kit also includes a small level that is very handy to make sure that one shelf is level. they were shipped out in a timely manner.
