Great scope

My wife decided to start hunting this year so I bought her a rifle and put my 3-9x40 prostaff on her rifle and got this one for myself. I've killed deer with the 3-9x40 but Walmart had the 50mm for as cheap as other places were asking for the 40mm so I figured I would try it out. We were sitting in the shooting house together so I looked through both of our scopes multiple times in different light and the extra 10mm really does make a lot of difference. You can see more things in less light and it even seems clearer in bright light. She's new to all of this and even noticed, so of course I have to buy her one now. The BDC reticle is an awesome tool. You sight it in on the crosshairs then go to nikons website and enter your bullet information. I promise they have almost every brand and type of bullet you can imagine, and if you reload your own they have a custom load option too. But after finding your bullet you enter the distance the crosshairs are sighted in at and it tells you what yardage each dot below the crosshairs represents I shoot 150 grain .308 Winchester power points and my readings are shown in the photo. I know it was long, but I like getting on a soap box about this scope. Just buy one and enjoy it.

Awesome Scope for the money

This would be my 3rd Nikon BDC. Excellent clarity in low light conditions. Setting up on a rifle is easy since every click moves the crosshairs lke it should. Only took me 5 shots to get dead center. BDC spot on is also a great tool to use with this scope because it tells you exactly what yard each circle below will shoot.
