powerful!

I received the Black and Decker Battery Powered Screwdriver called Power Driver. This thing will replace the old school manual screw driver. It included 4 AA batteries that fit right into the end of this driver. Very easy to install. The screwdriver also has an LED light feature on the end which I love. It has a great brightness in dark spaces. However, I do wish the light would stay on longer instead of only when the screwdriver is on. There are five bits included which are together in a plastic holder. The bits fit into the end of the driver by strong magnet. I do think the bits are hard to get out of the plastic piece at first but I would say that makes them easy to keep around. The screw driver itself is about 7.25 inch long however this driver also comes with an extender that extends this by 5 inches. The light is still useful even with the extender, even though not quite as bright with extender attached. I felt it was very powerful for only 4 batteries! I was able to even unscrew heavy door hinges with it. I will probably end up putting rechargeable batteries in it though. The only thing I wish is that this thing had a magnet drill bit. However, this is a powerful little machine that even comes with 2 year warranty! I personally will keep the extender attached so I don't mis-place it, but it is easily installed by snapping into place. Would for sure recommend this screw driver that packs a punch.

Great little tool

This review is for the BLACK+DECKER 6V ALKALINE SCREWDRIVER. So far we have tried this screwdriver on two separate occasions and each time so far it has been a positive experience. This screwdriver has a 220 RPM speed and an extension shaft which makes it easier to reach those hard to reach areas. It has an LED light to help you see in darker areas. It includes 5 fastening bits and takes 4 AA batteries which are also included and is a plus. This is perfect for those small everyday jobs and I really don't think after this that I will be able to go back to those boring manual screwdrivers. I have a lot of black and decker items and they never have disappointed me so far and this so far is no different. My husband really likes this as well he was excited to get a new toy and it seems like he has been favoring this tool as well over the manual screwdrivers. This feels nice in your hand, it's not awkward to hold and it is lightweight and not to heavy. I recommend this and will buy it again in the future if and when this one needs to be replaced.

Great helper

Sometimes when my husband or I use the regular screwdriver, I feel like my hand is going to fall off. Especially if you need to use it in hard to reach spaces. That is why I was so happy when I received this Black and Decker PowerDriver batter operated screwdriver. It is simply magical. I can screw things so much faster than when I would do it with manual screwdriver. The long attachment (extender) lets you reach 60 percent more. It is super easy to assemble and super easy to use. The screwdriver comes with five attachments for a large variety of jobs. The screwdriver requires and comes with four Kendal brand AA batteries. It also has a built-in LED light for extra convenience. The screwdriver has two year limited warranty and 30 day money back guarantee. The product is made in China. I would totally recommend this screwdriver for anyone who likes to save time and energy (and wrists). Not only it is fast and easy, it is super convenient to use battery operated screwdriver. Now you can finally put that dresser together, fix that annoying cupboard door or fix that favorite chair that's been thrown in the garage for better times.
