Kreg MKJKIT Mini Kreg Jig Kit

I was a bit hesitant as I have seen this product on TV and we all know that the "as seen on TV" is normally junk. THIS THING WORKS. My husband said it's one of the best tools a wood worker can have! He considers himself an amateur wood worker because he has only been doing it for a couple of years but has managed to build some amazing things for around our house. He said it makes things so much more sturdier than before. Plus he said the drill bit is super sharp and high quality!

This is a nice little Kreg Jig. I was excited to get this and take a whack at using it. I have several projects that this will come in handy for. I have a small kids table that is always having the legs falling off. The construction of the table was not the best from the maker, and this came in handy to help attach and strengthen the legs. You do need some type of a clamp to hold the jig to the project, but a nice C clamp or Vice Grips will work just fine. The jig comes with a drill bit and it also comes with a ring you can clamp onto the bit to use as a depth gauge. The size of this jig is nice and small. It fits on and in areas that you would not be able to get a bigger jig into. The jig also makes it easy to put a plug into the hole behind the screw if you want to hide the hole and make it look nice and clean. I am happy with this jig and will be using it for years to come. It feels like it should last for a while.
