The pot warms things up perfectly - great for anything - soup, stew, rice, veggies, meat - everything - and it does not smell while cooking - which is a plus at work. No one wants the smell of food in the office all morning. I highly recommend it. We are three admins sitting in a row and all three of us use ours at least two or three times a week.

I absolutely LOVE this crock pot! I've been using it consistently for lunch since I got it and it has been great for a number of reasons! (1) The design is very well thought-out. The insert is portable and easy to carry home and bring back to work each day with a new lunch so you don't need to bring home the entire crock pot. (2) The crock pot is well-thought out for easy storage in the office. The cord wraps around the bottom and has an insert at the bottom to keep everything nice and tidy. (3) I have been going crazy getting rid of freezer and pantry items that have been sitting around. My husband is pretty picky so there's not always an opportune time when cooking at home. As lunch is just for myself, I've been creating lots of interesting creations that have tasted very good when cooked together. (4) My coworkers are always super jealous when they smell my crock pot cooking in our kitchen area. Highly recommend!
