Made in USA and as good as any mass produced filter out there. I change my oil every 3000 miles. Yeah the manufacturer says I can got 7500, 10000 or more. The manufacturer only cares that the vehicle makes it out of the warranty,. If you intend on keeping your vehicle for longer than the warranty, then change your oil using the severe duty schedule. No matter what the anyone tells you. The manufacturer wants you to buy another new car as soon as possible so they do everything they can to ensure that will happen. And at $50K plus for a new car why wouldn't they. It's your money, spend it wisely.

Filter material looks good. Filters have a large number for filter pleats which indicates good filter surface area. Plastic pieces are neat and tidy with no gaps or rough edges. An o-ring is provided for the filter housing cover seal. I've used various Walmart Super-Tech products in the past and have been satisfied with their performance.

Use this with full synthetic oil. I drive less than 10K miles per year, so 1 oil change per year is keeping my Kia running strong. Quality from people who cut this filter open, count the pleats, and doing other test seem to validate that it works well. With inflation, things are so tough.
