Merrick Limited Ingredient Real Lamb & Sweet Potato Dry Dog Food, Grain Free, 22 lb Bag

I have 4 EXTREMELY picky dogs, 2 of which are diabetic and 3 have huge skin sensitivities. I have a senior Chihuahua (diabetic), 2 senior Jack Russell terriers (one diabetic) and a 4 yr old Labrador Retriever (healthy except for minor skin irritations). For the past 2 years I've tried everything when it comes to getting my babies to eat. I've tried dry, dry with a canned topper, freeze dried, refrigerated, small chunks, home made and on and on... and the cost WHOA! They would normally start out liking something well enough but within a week it was upturned noses and begging intensely for treats. Mind you, each dog had a different preference too. When 3 liked it, 1 refused it and so on. When they all seemed to like it, they would itch and scratch sometimes til they bled. Eventually I came upon an article that included Merrick as a recommended food. Week 1: Results were iffy because their old food was mixed in. Week 2: I noticed empty bowls or emptier bowls. Week 3: Empty bowls. Week 4: Empty bowls... this is a record! They don't all like to do it, but they will even eat it without a topper! Itchy skin is getting better. Diabetes symptoms (high sugar even with insulin) is regulating... So far this food seems like a miracle for my fur babies! I was always so stressed out trying to make sure they would eat without adding to their health problems. I do use the lamb formula as I believe my babies do have a spectrum of poultry sensitivities. 5 STARS and more!!
