My baby cat loves it. He is 8 months old. I haven't seen the old matriarch cat touch it, but she doesn't eat as much as he does. Plus, there is a little of the old food left in the bowls. I just wanted to test his reaction. I raised her on Special Kitty before changing to the soft centers kind, but I couldn't afford the fancy stuff this time. I'm sure she will love it and when I get paid I will stockk up better so we don't face a shortage again. They wouldn't have run out, but we were cutting it close. They do have soft food to fall back on, but I save that for a treat.
