Cool health gadget.

Easy to use. Bluetooth pairing for syncing blood pressure info. Has a simple app to help you track your weight goals. I got this because I'm on oral minoxidil and spironolactone for cosmetic reasons, but because both medications lower your blood pressure, and mine was never high to begin with, I have to monitor it to make sure it's safe to be them. If you have their heart monitor and scale, then you basically have the whole line, but you can also manually imput that info in the app amongst other things too. It was easy to use, not a lot of complicated buttons. Basically, I put the band on my arm and pressed the start button, and that was all. It's also surprisingly affordable too. I do wish it came with a power adapter though, because there is a port for one, but unfortunately it's not included.

i tried another brand but it was awful. it measured 20 higher than my doctor's so I replaced it with my 2nd Omron... My cardiology nurse recommended also.

My Omron 3 can detect if my heart is out of rhythm

I purchased the OMRON 3 Series Upper Arm Blood Pressure Monitor and Arm Cuff for Home Use so I could check my blood pressure and heart rate, and it would also tell me if my heart rhythm is in A-Fib. I had recently been in the hospital, and my heart rhythm was in A-Fib, and I had to have it cardioverted (shocked) back into regular sinus rhythm. My Cardiologist told me it might only be temporary, and I needed to keep an eye on it. I had an older Omron model for blood pressure, but it was difficult to get it on my arm correctly, and it couldn't detect A-Fib. I read all of the reviews online and even at Amazon, and was pleased with the reviews. Although Amazon was a little more expensive and would take longer to get to me, so I ordered it from Walmart. The reviews were correct. The cuff was made differently and was easy to put on my arm. It works correctly. I had it synced at my doctor's office. I am very pleased that my heart has not reverted to A-Fib, but I feel assured that if it does, the Omron 3 will alert me. I definitely recommend this model.
