Do not buy this product

This product has changed. It is not gel. It is just a big glob of mold. Do not buy this product. I also purchased it at other places and it too was just a glob of mold

Ain't What It Used To Be! (>_<)

HUGH NO NO. Greeting fellow Walmart shoppers. (^_^)Back in 2013-14' when I first purchased this Coconut and Hibiscus Curling Souffle it was AMAZING, seriously a top notch product, 5 stars! It left my hair moisturized 3-4 days straight and that is a big deal when you have naturally dry wiry hair. My hair looked very nice as well. The texture of this product was more like natural flaxseed gel the DIY kind that Naptural85 makes, smooooth slime and it was the best smooth slime. Now the formula has changed and I WILL NOT buy this again. NO WAY, NUNCA! I'm tempted to throw it away after just one use tonight because it is just too troublesome and yucky to apply. This is my 3rd purchase over the last 6-7 years. My first time purchase was absolutely great, the 2nd time round which was probably 2016 maybe 2017 I noticed the change and thought I just had a defected jar and I dealt with it, it was yucky but it was a milder yuck on the scale of "Yucks" compared to today and some of you know at that time the Shea Moisture brand was going through that YT "Canceled" stage but I'm a nice person, I thought I'd give em one more chance and now today February 2020 the formula has upgraded to a much more awful, gross, chunky, icky, non-pliable, sloppy, messy jessy jello (and I strongly dislike Jello)! I had to break through this stuff, it has the weirdest texture now. Honestly I don't think this souffle would work well for anyone. It was extremely hard to dissolve the jello like chunks into the palms of my hands, to then distribute throughout my hair. Little bits and big bits were dropping onto my bathroom rug and sink, it smelled a little strange too. I wonder if it can be melted down or is that just asking for more trouble. If you're thinking about buying this product I highly recommend that you buy something else. Even though my hair will probably be moisturized when it drys completely the pure HASSLE of the application IS NOT worth using it again. It just looks and feels gross digging into it. And this souffle isn't cheap, it's a rip off now and quite ashame that it is on the market. I'm going to try and get in contact with Shea Moisture because they need to go back to the original formula. Sofi Tucker would probably give this 4 thumbs down and fire the chemists that tampered with the formula by adding "PECTIN" a soluble gelatinous polysaccharide that is used as a setting agent in jams and jellies! I do not remember pectin being the 3rd ingredient in the 2013-14 batch. If you like being grossed out by hair products buy it, otherwise don't waste your money. In the tune of "The Old Grey Mare"...Curling Souffle it ain't what it used to be, ain't what it used to be, ain't what it used to be. This Curling Souffle it ain't what it used to be 6-7 years agooo. Highly disappointing and just totally gross product. (>_<)Simply eew!
