Impressed with the completeness of the kit
I am a nurse and so is my husband. We are the type of family that always travels with a first aid kit and medications no matter where we go. And this is especially true after having children. We would rather be prepared than be sorry. When we first got the Be Smart Hiking Buddy first aid kit, we were a bit skeptical if this kit was substantial or not given it came in a small pouch. So I poured all the contents out and started categorizing each piece of the kit and boy was I impressed. It had everything covered, from medications (both topical and oral) for insect stings to different types of bandages. There is Silvex which is great for promoting healing and preventing infections for cuts and burns. There are over-the-counter oral medications for pain and itching. Topical for insect protection/repellent. It even had a lancet to remove splinters and some thin rope to use as a tourniquet if needed or to tie around a stick and make a stabilizing splint. It is a very thoughtful set and pretty covers most common accidental situations while on a hike or outdoors. The best part? It is so compact. Like I said earlier, we were skeptical that such a small pouch had such a complete set of first aid supplies but IT DID.

Nice set
My husband carries a "bug out" bag with us every time we travel just in case. This is a perfect addition to his bag. He loves the variety, but his one complaint is that there could "be more". Overall it's a handy set to have and carry with you in case of emergencies, and we definitely plan to get more.

Fantastic in so many ways!
I love practical products and this is definitely a perfect example! Grab and go this bag that has everything you need as far as first aid goes from bandaids, insect repellants, alcohol prep pads, etc... all you need incase of cuts and scrapes, lacerations, bites & stings, allergies, and more. I'm planning on taking this with me on all trips moving forward.
