Powerful, Reliable Stove for Serious Camp Cooking

We've been using this stove on several car camping trips and it really performs. The two burners are powerful and heat up fast, boiling water quickly and handling full-meal cooking without a fuss — great when you're feeding a group. The windscreen and burner control make outdoor cooking easier than most tabletop stoves we've owned, and cleanup is simple. On the flip side, some parts feel a bit delicate — a few knobs and latches have a tendency to loosen or break with heavy use — and it's heavier/larger than smaller backpacking stoves, so it's better for car camping than hikes. Overall, if you want a reliable, high-output camp stove that makes cooking outdoors really enjoyable, this is worth it. Just be gentle with the plastic bits and consider an adapter hose so you can use a larger propane tank instead of little canisters.

Hot! Super fast cooking and easy to use.

Very impressed with this stove. It gets hot quickly, maintains temperature well, and actually feels more efficient than our stove at home. Cooking was faster and more consistent than expected.

Everest 2X camp stove for group cooking

I purchased the Everest 2X based on feedback from other trip leaders in my non profit group. This stove works great for fast cooking for a group and our organization is using these stoves to replace Coleman stoves. The stove goes through propane faster than Coleman stoves however so bring plenty of fuel if cooking for a group in the field. Stove is easy to set up, light and sturdy in windy conditions. So far it is everything I could want in a camp stove, looking forward to using it on upcoming trips.
