I haven't had a heated blanket in a while. I love that I can set this to a range of temps. I also love that it feels plush without feeling too weighty. I use mine under a quilt and I do not get overheated. Being over 50 it is important not to get too hot or too cold.

I bought this blanket to replace an old, heavy electric blanket that took forever to heat up and never got warm enough. This one is terrific. Heats up VERY quickly.... capable of getting VERY hot (perfect when my feet are particularly cold), and light as a feather. Also has great controls... easy to use. I am completely satisfied.

I bought this blanket when my space heater could not keep up. It was 32 degrees outside and 52 where I sleep. Traditional blankets (multiple !) were just not enough. I was freezing ! And so ...
