Continental TerrainContact H/T Highway LT245/70R17 119/116S E Light Truck Tire

I researched tires for my 2020 GMC 1500 Elevation. There were plenty of options, Cooper, Hercules, Falken and Continental with 60k milage ratings or better. The Continental Terrain Contact were the most expensive and more aggressive tread pattern of the Continentals offered. They are excellent and should be for the price. Handling is great, even on wet pavement. Minmal road noise at lower speeds but hardly noriceable for the tread design. I plan to trailer a 26' bumper pull and believe my mileage will be better than the more aggressive tire patterns of the competing brands (above). i've put ~200 miles on the tires and could feel the difference immediately. They're way better than the factory installed Bridgestone Dueler A/Ts. Although I love the tires, the purchasing process almost sent me to Costco to buy the even more expensive Michelin's. Walmart's online buying experience is the worst, less than 1 star and super frustrating to use to get a total cost including tax and installation. Amazon's online experience is 180° different and better. I bought the tires that were Walmart supplied to make sure my warranty is with them and not a 3rd party vendor, which i could've saved another $15/tire. BUT Walmart would not ship the tires to my local Walmart store and I tried every avenue but had to schedule a separate appointment to have my Walmart install the tires. Even the desk person couldn't get the store computer complete the installation and had to complete a new separate ticket. The install was great! So in retrospect: the tires - 5; Walmart online ordering - negative 1; Walmart installation - 5.
