Personal preference on food storage for work applications and the meals i cook. Large enough to accommodate substantial meals and cuts of meat. Price higher than other brands, but i have no comparison to quality as rubbermaid products have generally satisfied this criteria well enough for me in comparison to other brands in different storage applications. The mostly inconsequential price difference isn't worth wasting resources/time on other products in this genre to be disappointed just to save a couple dollars when i am satisfied with this one.

Good storage bowls

These worked very well to hold hot soup. We had a lot of soup left over and the outside of the container has a lip around it so you don't have to hold it by the hot bowl. The tops stay nice. I didn't check to see how tough they were against spills but they held together the whole time I needed them to.

I grabbed these to carry lunch, save left overs and to eat out of! And they perfect for all of them. And the size is generous enough to fill up a good portion of food. You will be full before emptying the bowl. They are sturdy and I really like that so they are truly reusable.
