It is chicken liver, not beef liver, so it looked slightly different from what I had been giving my dog. You get a lot for your money. The lid is VERY hard to open--may be a manufacturing mistake...we had to cut through the lid to open it. My dog isn't very picky. I think he liked the chicken liver, but maybe not quite as much as the beef liver. But worth the price, I would say.
