Shake all products well. Use only on a clean, cool surface in the shade. Important: Mount the Quik scratch eraser pad into your drill following the drill manufacturer's directions. Insure the pad is mounted securely. Always use both hands to hold/guide the drill, keeping the Quik scratch eraser pad flat on the paint surface. Keep the pad & drill moving. Allowing the pad to remain in one place can overheat the paint finish & cause damage. 1. Apply a small amount of scratchx 2.0 to the eraser pad in an x pattern. 2. Place the Quik scratch eraser pad flat on the scratch & using medium speed, make 4-6 overlapping passes. Repeat as needed until the defect is no longer noticeable. 3. Remove excess scratchx 2.0 from the Quik scratch eraser pad by pressing the pad into a clean, damp towel several times, then polish the affected area with 4-6 light, overlapping passes. 4. Remove remaining residue with the microfiber towel. Tip: follow with Meguiar's ultimate Quik wax to quickly protect & beautify the newly corrected area, along with the rest of your car!

Worked great on scuff marks

First, this product is not for major scratches like below the clear coat. For minor scratches, scrapes and scuffs. Perhaps where the bad reviews came from. My partner decided to SCRAPE ice off of my car and made scuff marks all over the top and hood of my car. Trying to buff it out with a rag did not work so I bought this. As you can see, not the best comparison photos but the result! Worked great. Very impressed.

Cleans up scraps and scratches nicely

This product worked incredibly well on my truck after it was scrapped by a pole. I used more of the product than was suggested, only because the scraps were large and difficult to remove in general. It took about 10-15 minutes using the brush attached to my drill, much easier than hand cleaning. All in all I'd recommend this product for minor scraps and paint that is stuck on. Not for use with large scratches.

This product worked great on light scratches on clear coat of paint also shined up clear coat that had been contaminated and had minor dullness to it. After using this product followed up with wax to protect finish. If you want to add more you can apply ceramic coating as well to help repel water and dirt.
