Excellent tire in Wisconsin ice and snow, braking for deer

I was a little leery of getting winter tires this year, as there hasn't been as much snow and ice this year, more just dry cold salted roads that are extra slick. Winter tires are not supposed to be as good on dry pavement. But the one night I had to drive in blowing icy snow without winter tires I slid dangerously 3 times. I considered Blizzaks, but heard they did not wear very long. My Ford dealer suggested these, for wear and for function. Glad he did! These tires grip as solid as any in the winter; last night a deer ran out in front of me and I had to jam brakes on, and no skidding with these. Much better on the snow and ice than my usual All-Season's. I plan to buy a set for my son's car, too.

It's as if I was connected to the road.

I had a 4x2 Nissan Frontier regular cab. It was notoriously bad in the winter (I had the car for about 5 years prior). I decided to put these tires on it and woah, I didn't have to weigh down my rear at all. It tore through the snow, the first time it snowed we had a snow day at work (which is EXTREMELY rare since it was a CMH) and I was able to make it in no sweat. Battle Creek is very hilly and I was able to go up and down hills no sweat. I would recommend.

Ice what ice??

I have never owned winter tires in my life. And last year I drove my Jetta with all seasons. I couldn't get any traction in winter. So I tried these tires and wow like driving on dry concrete. The grip is amazing. I got them studded as well. But grip is just crazy. Love them!!
