Goes on sort of like "Absorbing Jr." did. Felt top applicator pad. U use gravity and pressure to make the pad absorb the barrier liquid. LOVE IT! I'm sure which I like better yet, this or the individual wipes. I will see how this does in a month....hoping it doesn't dry up and not work. Thus far I love it. :) TY
