Product details
Molnlycke Hibiclens is an antiseptic antimicrobial skin cleanser possessing bactericidal activities. It has antiseptic activity and a persistent antimicrobial effect with rapid bactericidal activity against a wide range of microorganisms, including gram-positive bacteria and gramnegative bacteria. It is indicated for use as a surgical scrub for patients pre-operative skin preparation, a healthcare personnel hand wash and as a skin wound and general cleanser. Molnlycke Hibiclens has non-flammable formula. Efficacy is not compromised by contact with organic matter like blood. Bonds to skin to sustain its antimicrobial activity for up to 6 hours. Effectiveness increases with use, due to a cumulative effect. Less-irritating than other antiseptics.

Instructions
Use with care in premature infants or infants under 2 months of age.\nThese products may cause irritation or chemical burns.\nSkin wound and general skin cleansing.\nThoroughly rinse the area to be cleaned with water.\nApply the minimum amount of the product necessary to cover the skin or wound area and wash gently.\nRinse thoroughly.\nSurgical hand scrub.\nWet hands and forearms with water.\nScrub for 3 minutes with about 5 ml of the product with a brush.\nRinse thoroughly under running water.\nRepeat.\nDry thoroughly.\nHealthcare personnel handwash.\nWet hands with water.\nDispense about 5 ml of the product into cupped hands and wash in a vigorous manner for 15 seconds.\nRinse and dry thoroughly.\nLaundering/Cleaning Instructions:\nChlorhexidine Gluconate skin cleaners will cause stains if used with chlorinated products.\nRinse completely and use only non-chlorine detergents.
