Start with fresh cold water and bring to a rolling boil. Pour over tea bag, steep for 4 minutes (or whatever time you like), remove tea bag. For Iced Tea by the glass steep a little longer & pour over ice.

My favorite tea
This has been my favorite mint tea for years. It's not overpowering like peppermint tea. Sometimes I drink a cup of it here and there, but usually I use 4 bags of this and 2 bags of Walmart green tea, brew them together, put the mixture in a 2 quart pitcher, add water to the top, refrigerate, and drink it cold. Very refreshing.

Growing up, I never had a babysitter, I went to Nana & Papa's (maternal grandparents). Nana always served hot tea to Papa in bed at night so naturally, I got to have this also. Not only does Mint Medley taste awesome, it helps me relax. As a multi gallon blood donor (just hit the 100 gallon mark!), I also appreciate that does not contain caffeine. Caffeine inhibits the absorption of iron & my iron count has to be a certain level in order to donate blood. I also started bringing various flavors of decaf herbal teas from Bigelow to the Blood Bank here in Austin, TX. Another added bonus is that after brewing, I can just put the used tea bag in the compost. Also, the packaging is 100% recyclable. It's a win-win situation!

The combination of spearmint and peppermint is perfect, not overpowering like some straight peppermint teas. The added flavors of linden, passionflower, hops, chamomile, catnip, lemon verbena, lemon peel, and lemongrass really round out the taste.
