I bought these as gifts. My wife and I have the XPH30R and they work great. I like that they are rechargeable. They are built tough, I have had other headlamps that do not hold up. I also have a G23 which I use everyday, when it stopped working they sent out a new one. I have two of their knives also. Satisfied customer.

As close to perfect for me as I've ever had. Great runtime, quick focus changes, replaceable band, removable light with magnet........and the beam has a refined pattern with no hotspots or deadzones. The external recharge port has a waterproof cap.....GENIUS! Three brightness levels, the low is perfect, the high is powerful. Not sure why high power is in between medium and low, but otherwise a great light with quality construction. Run time is as advertised. Can't speak to how many cycles the battery will give as I've only had the light a week, but if it's from Coast, it's quality.
