We have had these dishes for about a month. We love them. Very solid, pretty, don't heat up in the microwave. for $13.88 on sale for this 12-piece set, how can one go wrong? We picked these up at the store. They came in a box that was very well packed. Some reviews have complained that orders arrived with breakage. It is hard to see how these could be damaged if shipped but i suppose it could happen with very rough handling.
