Better Homes&gardens Bhg Porc Wavy Bowl

I recently received the Better Homes & Gardens White Porcelain Wavy Serve Bowl set. I initially thought that I was getting one bowl, however, the bowls come in a set of 6. The bowls are ceramic and the color of all four bowls is white. The picture online led me to believe that the bowls were smaller than they actually are, but that was fine by me as I love the size of these bowls. They are little larger than what I would consider an average sized cereal bowl (see pictures posted of this bowl next to a Corelle bowl). I also like the design of the bowls or “wavy” style. It gives the bowls an attractive, sleek look. The product says that the bowls are microwave and dishwasher safe but that the bowl could become hot in the microwave. I did test this and found it to be true, which is not a problem and good to know in advance. While these bowls may be a little larger that what I would consider to be an individual serving sized bowl, they could be used for any number of things. They are a great size for side dishes, a nice sized serving of pasta, an individual salad, or even a salad for two. I am very pleased with these bowls and would recommend them to others.

Better Homes & Gardens White Porcelain Wavy Serve Bowls are beautiful and top of the line. The many uses for these bowls are endless. The porcelain offers a little class to the table. When the bowls were received 1/2 of them were broken many into pieces. I am thinking damage in transport. I gave as a gift to friend for her dinner parties. She loves the 3 bowls and also uses daily. She simply adores the design. They are nice strong and sturdy. The size is great for serving, and provides little or no replenishing of contents when used. That is an added plus.
