there is a rectangular piece that has a flat metal bottom part. you're supposed to put the left and right brackets for the drawers into the holes and then just hook them and they sit there and they work. but that particular piece, with the flat bar makes it so you can't easily insert the brackets. so at the angle you have to put it in at but having to put it around a specific piece made it impossible to do without forcing it. I snapped the L-shaped piece on the bracket trying to put it in the hole and maneuver it around that flat bar. and the second piece I put in basically had to be manhandled and bent around it. it seems like a poor craftsmanship design. I did email the company to get a replacement part, but it said their inbox was full. I did end up super gluing the part and it is currently working but I'm sure it's going to be a constant problem until I can get a replacement part that may or may not pop in like it's supposed to because of the bad design. otherwise the drawers seems dirty and was a little bit smaller than I expected it to be but then again I didn't measure anything, it does look very nice and it was easy to put together besides that bottom middle bracket situation

Assembly has plastic pieces for rails. It doesn't make a difference, but I just assumed it would be metal like the bigger one I bought a year or two ago. It works the same as the more expensive one. I will buy another. Price point makes it worth the buy at under $40 which is less than half the price of the large one at two-thirds the size.
