Fantastic sauce pan

I've had cookware from all over the price spectrum. This sauce pan is an excellent value. Heats well, balanced weight, cleans well, and the lid for straining is a lifesaver. I wish it was sold separately in multiple sizes because I don't need an entire set just now.

Happy accident! What a great pan!

I accidentally ordered a much better pan than I realized. At only $25 for a stainless steel 3qt saucepan, I just wasn't expecting much, but the performance is pretty great. The first thing I made was popcorn, which works best with a heavy bottom pan. No old maids, which was a nice surprise. Tonight I made a cream soup, and fully expected it to stick to the sides, but nope, it worked as well as a non-stick pan but without the toxic coating. Cleaned right up, easy peasy. If I have one critique it's that the metal handles on the lid and pan do get too warm to the touch for bare hands. Oven mitts are AB extra step if or That's not surprising so it's not worth removing a star, but I wish they had used a heat-resistant substance instead.

Had to replace a few pans as I bought a new induction stove. This one works great and cleans up easily. The pour spouts on each side and the drainable lid make it perfect for mashed potatoes and other veggies and pasta.
