It really does take out stains! Not sure about all stains but the typical ketchup, coca cola, fruit juice or pet mess stains thia stuff works in hot water as well in cold water. I wish it did not cost so much but there's the tradeoff. Using the other brands for a long time got clothes dingy.....this will refresh those. Got tired of dingy pastels and whites. So went back to this.

My first time using this product and I was very pleased at how clean it got everything including socks that had been walked around in without shoes so the soles were dirty but came perfectly clean without scrubbing or presoaking. Nice smell without being overpowering.

this is my preferred detergent when its within my budget. cleans well , washes away teenage boy smells. while arm and hammer oxi (fresh burst/scent?) clean smells good but kinda smells foul afterwards and doesnt work as well for stains as tide simply. purex oxi is concentrated and lathers well, light scent and seems to get odors out but tide is also better in stain removal. i find itnworks just as well as regular tide and much more affordable
