Very happy with this fan

The fan looks nice but more importantly it blows a substantial amount of air. It is installed in our fairly large family room that is open to the kitchen. On high speed you can feel the air flow sitting in the kitchen. It is on a 4' down rod with no wobble, perfectly balanced.

Remote is not good.

Had this fan for a while. FIVE STARs for operation, zero fan noise, ZERO STARs for the remote IT IS AWFUL!!!! 1, The "remote" is mounted into the wall, where the light switch goes. 2. The remote is vague in its operation, where you cannot know what speed you have selected. You will struggle to turn on, it is on high, then trying to turn down, you'll shut it off. Over and over.
