I have only used Traeger pellets in my Pro 22. I trust the brand and have had success with all the different woods I've used. Their pellets, through my experience, produce very little ash, give a consistent burn, and produce an exceptional smoke flavor. I've cooked burgers, whole chickens, pork butt, and many other items. All good!!

Favorite pellets for smoking

Of all the pellets we've tried, the mesquite is our favorite. Gives meats a smokey flavor that's distinct to the Traeger grill. We only use these Traeger pellets in our smoker, they feed perfectly into the grill and burn evenly to keep a consistent temperature. Delicious smoked flavor on everything we've tried, pork and chicken are my favorites with the mesquite pellets.
