Hawkins is an Indian standard for pressure cooking and has remained a constant generationally among Tamil Nadu. It's compact, does the job consistently well and the product quality has never disappointed me and my family over decades. However the 4 star was because the product sent was not sealed, which means could have been a returned product and hence had a few scratches. I couldn't wait for a replacement and hence kept it. Although the brand is outstanding world class, the seller had to be equally trustworthy to get the 100%. This is for the seller and not the product. Other competing manufacturers haven't yet stealed the %231 spot maintained by Hawkins nor the hearts of generational pressure cooking. On cooking - it reduces cook time to minutes if you read the manual and get a hang of the proportions and basics of pressure cooking. Consistent cooking experience is the richness of the product. Versatile. No need to wait for slow cooking or oven cooking for ages. Get tasteful food ready in minutes without loosing nutrient value because of over cooking or sauteeing. Thank you Hawkins.
