Pretty, but probably dangerous.

The blanket is very soft and pretty. It was placed on the bed and turned on to a medium setting. The heat was great. The control box (where you put in the settings you want) soon became hot enough to burn you. And yes, it was plugged in and set properly. The blanket did not overheat, just the controller. The blanket also shed terribly.

I love the long cord that reaches from the plug of the blanket all the way to the top of the blanket. Blanket heats extremely well %26 quickly. I use when on my couch in place of a throw size because it covers better. I tried %26 returned 3 other blankets because of short cords. The spec's don't show the length of this portion of the cord, only to the wall plug. So happy for the quality that I bought a second one for my bf. I'm able to turn my furnace down 3° since using these blankets, saving tons on propane cost. We're still very comfortable at the lower temp. We rarely use blankets above %232 or 3 setting %26 they go to 6. So pleased!!
