This blanket is super bright white. My husband got it for me for Christmas in order to replace my old down comforter I have had for about 11 years. This one is nice and soft and slightly heavy- like youd expect a down comforter to be. I do believe my old blanket was goose down, this one is duck down and duck feathers- but I cant tell the difference. This comforter is not a heavy duty, winter blanket. It is lightweight enough to be used during summer and is super cozy. During winter nights, it drops down to about 30 degrees here and this blanket is not enough on super cold nights. In SoCal though, I can use this 11 months out of the year comfortably.

Great product. Runs a bit small. I have a king size bed and I ordered a California King (CK) and it barely fits my bed. It definitely would not fit a CK bed. I love that it's machine washable.
