Extra security!

I recently got this for some added protection to my entry door. You see them all the time in hotel rooms, and this adds that same level of secondary security to your home. It installs very securely with only three screws, and just takes minutes from start to finish. Depending your particular door trim, you may have to cut some of the molding away get a more secure fit. Otherwise, I would recommend adding some longer screws to ensure that they reach the door frame itself. Very easy to operate, even for those with mobility or dexterity challenges. Highly highly recommend.

Quick and Easy DIY Install!

The Brinks Privacy Door Latch has a really simple design and sturdy construction. It took me just a few minutes to install with the help of a drill. This style doesn't require being level with the door in order to catch. A+!!! I installed a hook style latch on one of my other doors and had to carve out a niche for the bracket on the trim. This was provided to me in exchange for my honest feedback.

Definitely industrial duty

Straight out of the box this product feels rugged and extra heavy duty. This is very strong and I love that the included screws are a good screw that doesn't strip out as soon as you run it in. I love the privacy this latch provides
