This cereal is expensive, but worth every penny: each aspect of the cereal has been carefully thought out, from the grains that have just the right amount of chewiness, to the satisfyingly gummy texture of the dried fruit, to the rich, toasty flavor of the chopped nuts…and the raw sugar lends plenty of sweetness that will make you come back each morning for it! Even little things, like the thick, perfectly sealed bag, the sturdy box, and the restrained, professional-looking graphics on the box all subtly communicate that this cereal is one for adults who appreciate genuinely good food. I think there's a reason this is the same recipe from 1959! (Oh, and do read the origin story on the box; it will surely warm your heart.) Other things, like the environmental certifications, (it is made with renewable energy, for example) make me proud to buy this cereal. Too many products simply don't express any concern about leaving the world a good place for our children, but this one absolutely does!
