Heavy duty for any bag

Well I'll say this... It is definitely a 3lb bag. Closer to almost 3 and 1/2 lb with the carrying bag. If it is 20 degrees and you can manage carrying it while you're backpacking, because it is about a pound and a half more than you really want to carry on any kind of backpacking trip, it doesn't seem to be a bad sleeping bag. To be honest with you the outside feels like canvas or something and it almost seems like it'd be waterproof if you just sprayed it with some 3M spray. It's quite unlike the other sleeping bag that I got from walmart.com for the same price. That was like a very thin nylon. This is like really thick rainfly type material. So I guess there's that. It seems like it would be durable last long time. Matter fact I feel like I could sleep out in the yard in the rain and not get wet. Another cool thing, the zipper doesn't have any flaps or anything hanging over to get caught up on. You know, how you're always getting the zipper stuck on the lining? That doesn't happen with this bag. Good hiking!
