Left it too long!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I should've bought this fabulous attachment years ago. Bread making made so much easier and I bake weekly! My hot cross buns were mixed to perfection and in a fraction of the time they usually take. Delivery was prompt too! Thank you.

chipping after 1.5 years...

my family gifted me the mixer that comes with this hook about 1.5 years ago. happily making bread every two weeks or so. In a recent batch of bread I spat out a film which i found a bit weird as i couldnt recognise where it was from, only to later realise its from the chipped hook. Have only hand-washed with a soft sponge since started using it and its not even that long. Came in here and realised im not the only one. Quite disappointed.

When the beater height is out of alignment, it can sit too low and scrape the bowl, which may cause chipping. Chipped coating

I'm disappointed at the the quality of this hook, especially that it comes with an expensive product. I bought the stand mixer 6 weeks ago and only started using the dough hook 3 weeks ago and it had already chipped. I handwash it with a soft sponge and handle it with care.
