I bought this curling iron because it is made by Conair so I felt that it was good one. It is very plain without a stand, yet, it heats up very well with no kind of temperature settings. It was necessary to me to avoid burns by placing it on a piece of cardboard. Again it's plain, but gets the job done and the price is very reasonable.
