This was given to me as a gift. I absolutely love this shredder. Occasionally if you put too many in at one time it does have to work a little harder. But that's not an issue for me. I just put them in fewer at a time.

It's an OK shredder....
The can is made out of semi-sturdy plastic not metal. The opening for the paper is not large enough so the papers get bulged and that causes the shredder work harder (as if the number of sheets were doubled.) Also, the can is too small and fills up quickly so it requires constant emptying. It would have been better if the can had a DRAWER for shredded papers so emptying them wouldn't be a chore especially with heady shredder top.
