good for the price. but not as good as the old infra red. this one has thin metal trays under the grates but they catch a lot of fat and it just burns sitting in there. major flare ups.

i would give it 5 dtsrs on all questions but it would only allow 4. I purchased for my hubby. he fired it up yesterday using a lava stone. he is in heaven. said best grill he has ever had. i did alot of researching before purchasing. the option of gas or charcoal/ lava stone great options
