Still working after 4 (four) years of near-daily use

Bought Mar. 2021 (MS store) for Xbox 1X, use today w/ XBSX. Occasionally need to unplug/plug back in to controller as can get quiet in left ear randomly, but not often - not sure if this is the console/controller or the headset, but doing this step solves the issue for a few weeks/months. (I do unplug from controller when shutting down the XB.) No other issues except earcups wearing out due to lots of use on my sweaty noggin. The volume can be a bit finicky - turns fine, but not always smooth up/down in volume. I don't consider this an issue as I can adjust the volume on the XB if needed. Don't use the mic often but works when I do. Quite happy with this headset, hoping I can get some replacement earpads & keep using for another couple of years or so. (Don't have kids or pets, & I take care of my stuff, so YMMV)
